John Wright, our fungi expert and author of the River Cottage handbook: Mushrooms, has been fascinated by mushrooms since he was 12 and has run hundreds of fungi forays. The course will cover edible mushrooms like the famous Scots ceps (porcini), chanterelles, charcoal burners, hedgehog fungi, amethyst and deceivers, as well as many other non-edible but fascinating fungi from earth balls to stinkhorns!
Please allow for a full day out, bringing a packed lunch.
