Plant Medicine Workshop Sunday 15 July 2018 West Lothian

The common plants growing around us have always been used to heal and as modern medicine has developed, the old household remedies are used less and less.  Using herbs growing freely in the hedgerows, fields and woodlands we can safely make many treatments for day to day ailments.
You’ll learn over 20 species of native plants, where to look for them, how to identify them and what they are used for. Talks and slideshow followed by a hands-on workshop of making the medicines including harvesting, drying, infusions, tinctures and ointments.

You’ll take home printed information and your own herbal remedy.

Class from 10:00 to 16:00. Lunch not included, please bring a packed lunch. Class size just 12 people.
